A Quick Thank You
I just wanted to write a quick thank you to all those who took the time to read my last blog post about Cassie’s Law.
The response and support has been phenomenal and far greater than I had ever expected. Having signed the petition myself I just wanted to make a few more people aware of it. If just a handful of those then also signed then it would have been worthwhile. However, with well over 2000 views in the past few days I’ve been left left me somewhat overwhelmed.
This is of course all down to those who have read it and then chose to share it. Some shared it on Twitter but it seems Facebook is where a huge amount of support has come from. Well over 100 people have posted it on Facebook and I have been contacted by people who I don’t even know who had seen it there and felt the need to share it. This just goes to show what a powerful tool social networking can be. With so many people having read it, if just half then went on to sign the petition then it would have made a big difference, so thank you to you all.
There is of course still plenty of time to sign the petition if you haven’t done so already and you can of course still share my last blog post to help raise awareness, which can easily be done by clicking the Facebook ‘Share’ button at the bottom of the blog post. Or just put the e-petition link straight onto your page.
Signing and supporting Cassie’s Law will of course never bring Cassie McCord back, but it will help to stop such a tragedy from happening again to someone else’s loved one.
